RABYD-VAX is a collaborative research project funded under the EU’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (Horizon 2020), coordinated by the University of Leuven (KU Leuven) and conducted by five European research institutes. Our research focuses on the development of a novel dual rabies – yellow fever vaccine.
RABYD-VAX combines the expertise of five European research institutes to develop and validate a vaccine that protects against both rabies and yellow fever/Japanese encephalitis virus and which could ultimately be given as a prophylactic childhood vaccine incorporated in the standard childhood vaccination schedule of endemic regions.
